World Series of Poker Main Event November Nine

By now, most of you know the identities of the “November Nine” that remain in contention for the 2009 WSOP Main Event title, which will play out in Las Vegas this coming weekend. For those looking to cash in, Bookmaker.com CEO Mickey Richardson has tasked his odds makers to determine which nine have the best chance of surviving the final table.

8 of 9 Inked in 2009 World Series of Poker

darvin-moon(As reported by Gambling911.com) When the World Series of Poker (WSOP) decided last year to initiate a four-month break between the time the WSOP Main Event final table is set and the time it is played off, part of the reason was to give the event four months of publicity.

The other part of the reason was to give the nine final table members the chance to ink endorsement deals with online poker rooms-in exchange for wearing a room’s logo during televised final table play, the final table member earns a fee.

WSOP November Niners Lead WPT Legends of Poker

wpt_slidingAs the World Poker Tour (WPT) Legends of Poker tour gets underway, the November Nine seem to be dominating with players like Steven Begleiter, Kevin Schaffel, and Todd Terry sit in the top three in chips. Bryan Devonshire, a top online poker player was the chip leader with 27 players to go until his fortunes turned sour.As of Tuesday, Todd Terry leads the way with a stack of 850,000.

Final Table Set at 40th Annual World Series of Poker® Main Event November Nine Will Compete for More than $27 Million

november-nine-group-shotThe massive field of 6,494 players who entered the World Series of Poker® (WSOP) Main Event has been narrowed to just nine competitors who will return to Las Vegas in November to compete for a top prize of more than $8.5 million and the most coveted prize in poker: the WSOP champion’s gold bracelet.

Main Event play began July 3; the field was trimmed to just 27 players from seven countries at the start of play on July 15. The nine players who survived the day to advance to November’s final table, along with their chip counts, are:
