Two Poker Players Eliminated in “Amazing Race”
LAS VEGAS, Nevada — Poker player Maria Ho and Tiffany Michelle busted out of the reality television series, “The Amazing Race.”
On Sunday night’s episode, the female poker players were eliminated in sixth place from the 12-team race around the world after they couldn’t complete either of two roadblock tasks set up for contestants in The Netherlands. Neither could play a version of golf nor bring a bell at the top of a tower.
The reality television show took the contestants to such locations as Tokyo, Vietnam, Laos, Dubai and The Netherlands. “We don’t want to give up on the race, but we do not foresee that we will be able to finish this challenge with this weather,” Michelle told the show’s host, Phil Keoghan.
“Tiffany’s been my hero this entire race,” Ho said. “I see her as completely invincible, but I have to remember that at the end of day we can only do so much.”
Michelle and Ho are two of the top female professional poker players on the circuit.
